Things to Know Before You Float
You must complete our Release Form prior to floating.
FLOAT TRIP TIMING:
Float Trips start at 9:00 am, 10:30 am, 12:00 pm AND on Sat. and Sun. only, 1:00 pm. Float trips may start earlier by appointment.
Float trip lengths vary based on river conditions, route, type of rental, and frequency of stopping. See “Routes” below.
You MUST arrive 15 min. prior to floating time at the Twin River Canoe Rental Check-in near the Boat Ramp Parking Lot. If you do not arrive on time, we reserve the right to give away your rental to walk-in guests.
FLOAT TRIP DELAYS AND REFUNDS:
Sorry, NO refunds, even due to bad weather or high river levels, you can reschedule. No shows or cancellations within 72 hours of your scheduled float will incur a $15 per vessel rescheduling fee.
On rare occasions, it is possible there will be up to a 90-minute delay to start your float trip, even if you have a reservation.
FLOAT TRIP ROUTES:
Canoes and Kayaks: 9-Mile Route, which averages approximately 3.5-hours float time.
Rafts & Tubes: 4-mile Route, which averages approximately 3-hours of float time.
FLOAT TRIP PARKING:
Once you're on Twin River Rd., please follow the signs "Float Trips." If you're coming from Highway W, the entrance will be on your left hand side.
FLOAT TRIP FOOD:
Feel free to bring your own coolers with food and drinks; but remember NO GLASS CONTAINERS ARE PERMITTED.
Catering is available for a nominal fee. Please Call Us to prior to your visit to make arrangements for catering.
Onsite we accept cash only, we only take credit cards when booking online.
FLOAT TRIP RESTRICTIONS:
Due to our insurance policies, dogs are NOT allowed on our float trips.
NO glass containers are permitted.
FLOAT TRIP RESERVATIONS:
We often sell out of rentals. Advanced reservations are required.
