Brookdale Farms carriage service, formerly known as "The Cheshire Carriage Service", was purchased in 1987. The carriage service operates in the downtown St. Louis area nightly and also does many weddings and private parties, parades and Santa's Magical Kingdom at Christmas time.
Many of the carriage drivers have been with Brookdale Farms for years, you may see them year and year again at many of the same events; such as the V.P Fair Parade in July. Brookdale Farms also provides horses and carriages to the Orpheus Mardi Gras parades in New Orleans each year.
The drivers are the finest and provide a great experience and many lasting memories for the wedding couple and that special vacationer to St. Louis. Our beautiful percheron carriage horses live happily at Brookdale Farms in Eureka. The facility features giant pastures and a large grass riding ring suitable for horse shows.
